Pressing Pause

pause. breathe. reconnect.

Pressing Pause is a 6-week Yin Yoga series for women who are ready for a slower, softer approach to movement, rest, and well-being.

Think of it as a deep exhale for your whole being.

A chance to slow down, release tension, reconnect with yourself, and settle more fully into your body and breath.

Whether you’re completely new to Yin Yoga or returning after time away, Pressing Pause meets you where you are. Each seasonal series offers a little space to pause, breathe, reconnect, and simply be.

We practice live, online, together.

The next small group begins Tuesday, September 8, and registration is open through Sunday, September 6.

Pressing Pause might be for you if…

You know how to keep going, but you’re learning how to slow down.

You might be craving…

  • a slower pace and moments of stillness

  • relief from stress, overwhelm, and a busy mind

  • time to soften, release tension, and let go

  • a deeper connection with your body and breath

  • a gentle complement to the ways you move and challenge your body

  • more restful sleep

You want a practice that feels supportive rather than demanding.

You want to make rest part of your life, not something you squeeze in when everything else is finished.

Or maybe you’re simply curious about what might happen if you gave yourself six weeks to pause.

Maybe this is the space you’ve been needing.

What Makes Yin Yoga Different?

Yin Yoga offers a different approach to movement, not only because of what you're doing, but because of how you're being.

It invites you to slow down, tune in, and soften in ways that extend far beyond the physical body.

This is a quiet, grounding, and deeply restful practice that works with the deeper tissues of the body, including connective tissues, joints, fascia, and bones. We practice primarily in longer-held, floor-based poses, usually staying for 3 to 5 minutes at a time.

Props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks are often used, not just for support, but to help you settle in more fully and feel more at ease in your body.

Over time, Yin can support mobility, ease tension, and help your body feel more open, but the physical benefits are only part of the experience.

Many women return to Yin again and again for the way it supports their whole beingbody, mind, and spirit.

The Details

1. Weekly Live Classes & Replays

Settle into a weekly rhythm with a live online Yin class each Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. ET. Each 60-minute class is held on Zoom, with replays available if you can’t join live.

One of our live classes will feature a special guest facilitator sharing somatic practices and insights.

2. Support Between Classes

The experience continues between classes, so you’re supported throughout the six weeks, not just during our Tuesday evening practice.

You’ll receive a custom workbook, thoughtful emails to encourage your practice, and a bonus pre-recorded Yin + Yoga Nidra class to support deep rest.

You’ll also have access to a private Voxer group for voice and text check-ins, questions, coaching, and shared reflections.

3. A Small Group Experience

Every group is intentionally kept small so you can feel seen, supported, and personally guided throughout the six weeks.

4. Props for Your Practice

To support your practice, you’ll need:

  • 1 blanket

  • 2 yoga blocks

  • 1 round yoga bolster (or a supportive substitute)

5. Registration & Cost

The next small group begins Tuesday, September 8, and registration is open through Sunday, September 6.
