Pressing Pause: Yin Yoga Essentials for Women (6 week online class series)

Tuesdays at 8:30pm ET (75 min) beginning Jan. 9 and ending Feb. 13 (6 weeks)
Each class will be live streamed via zoom + replays will be available
All students will need 1 round yoga bolster, 2 foam yoga blocks and a blanket
Extra coaching between classes via group chat on the Voxer app

Tech Talk…
Classes are taught online through Zoom, a video conference system. You will need a computer with a high speed internet connection, or tablet (such as an iPad), or smartphone. You will also need a webcam, speaker and microphone. Recommended internet browsers for Zoom: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

Prep Your Space...
Find a private, quiet space in your home and add in some relaxing elements: dim the lights, light a candle, play a soothing soundtrack, use a white noise app - anything that works for you.
Grab Your Props…
Props can enhance your practice and create more ways for you to modify poses. For yin yoga and gentle yoga classes, I highly recommend grabbing a blanket, a yoga bolster, and 2 yoga blocks. If you do not have a bolster or blocks, you can get creative by using household items as a substitute. A firm couch cushion can be a bolster and a hardcover book can be a block.
*It is nice to have an eye pillow or lavender cloth to place over your eyes during final rest (savasana).
Arrive Early…
Log in to Zoom a few minutes early so you have plenty of time to connect your audio and settle into your space.
